Very little information has been made available by the NSW Government about the impact the Duck Creek Fire has had on the Santos’ Pilliga gasfield. The fire burned between Dec 2023 and January 2024. A spokesman for Santos said the fire had not posed a risk to any Santos facilities, but they had shut down operations.
